Dacker Lloyd has spent years selling tourists on the legend of the Moon Jackalope—blue and violet rabbits with antlers and a history only he seems to remember. But when his failing Wyoming taxidermy shop is repossessed, Dacker needs somewhere to dispose of a building full of unsold monsters. Then a crater opens beside the neighboring Haverty farm. Days later, during a Saturday-night quilting party, something begins moving in the fields. The first guest disappears. The second is found nibbled to death. Soon the Havertys discover that the dumbest creature Dacker ever invented has become very real—and very hungry. Night Of The Moon Jackalopes is a fast, bloody, funny creature-feature horror story about bad decisions, rural ingenuity, rockets, a shotgun, old dynamite—and the least reliable monster expert in Wyoming.
